About the Adolescent & Family Counseling Center

The Adolescent & Family Counseling Center is a multi-disciplinary outpatient private practice. Founded in 1980 by our Director, Herbert Jay Rosenfield, the Center has its primary location in Cheshire, CT, and an office in Danbury. Our Cheshire office is in the Republic Building, 350 South Main Street, Cheshire; our Danbury office is at 72 North Street – Suite 205, Danbury

With the mission, “Helping You Solve Life’s Problems” ™, the A&FCC has offered clients the professional skills, experience, and concern of Licensed Clinical Social Workers, Psychiatrists, Psychologists, Marriage & Family Therapists, Licensed Professional Counselors, Certified Guidance Counselors, and Teachers.

The A&FCC helps clients and their families through counseling, groups, courses, workshops, programs, and presentations. We also provide Employee Assistance Programs through Connecticut Mental Health Resources, LLC and the "Cheshire Employee Assistance Program". Beginning in 2006, A&FCC now offers F.I.T. Therapy ™ – our Face-to-face Internet Technology Therapy,audio-video connections over the Internet.
